Our latest creation, the 1/24th Asphalt Late Model, truly reflects the spirit and enthusiasm of our brand. Chassis

The 1/24th Asphalt Late Model chassis is designed to mimic the look, tuning, and driving experience of a full-size race car. It features a realistic tubular-style chassis with a centrally mounted battery, which enhances balance for both oval and road-course racing.

Front Suspension

The front suspension is a A-arm style, equipped with aluminum shock bodies and adjustable front spring platforms that allow for spring preload adjustments. Additionally, the front caster is independently adjustable.

Rear Suspension and Transmission

The rear axle assembly utilizes a solid direct-drive axle with a compound gearset and a locked gear ratio to ensure competitive spec-type racing. It also includes high-impact composite radius rods, a Panhard bar, and threaded, adjustable coil-over friction aluminum bodied shocks.

Shocks

The aluminum friction shocks used on the 1/24th Asphalt Late Model share many components with the 1/18th line of 1RC Racing vehicles. The compatible parts include shock caps, shock O-rings, shock shafts, shock ends, spring cups, and rear shock springs. The only new components are the shorter aluminum shock bodies and the aluminum spring adjustment collar. The 1/24th bronze-anodized shock bodies are intentionally colored bronze to distinguish them from the longer blue or silver aluminum shock bodies found in the 1/18th vehicle lineup.

Power System

The power system features a 1RC Racing 8700Kv brushless motor paired with a 12-tooth removable composite pinion gear, simplifying the repair process. The fully programmable 10-Amp Electronic Speed Controller is the same model used in the 1/18 scale cars. Due to the vehicle's smaller size, the 1/24 Asphalt Late Model uses a 1RC Racing 4-Cell NiMH 230mAh battery, which provides an impressive run time of over 10 minutes.

Additionally, a new metal-gear micro digital servo ensures precise steering control, delivering 0.7 kg/cm of torque and a transit speed of 0.12 seconds at 4.8V. The car is operated using a FlySky G2TE transmitter and a FlySky FS-A3 receiver, both of which use the AFHDS 2A protocol. This setup allows racers to easily upgrade to the multi-model Flysky FS-GT5 transmitter.

Wheels and Tires

The 1RC Racing Asphalt Late Model features a micro-pin tire design that provides optimum traction. The Hoosier logo is prominently displayed on the sidewall, and the tires are mounted on chrome 1RC Racing wheels. A new feature of the 1/24th chassis is the 5mm front and rear hex system, which allows for the mixing and matching of tire sets with the universal wheel hex.

To enhance front steering control, new adhesive tire rings are included. These rings adhere to the outer front sidewalls and come in two diameters: 30mm and 31mm, enabling precise steering adjustments on high-traction surfaces. Additionally, optional tires are available with black wheels in both standard and soft compounds.

Body

The 1/24th Asphalt Late Model chassis features the latest design inspired by the 1RC Racing 1/18th Asphalt Late Model 2.0 body. Like all 1RC Racing cars, it includes a faux driver, window net, and interior details. The package includes two sets of sticker graphics in blue and red, sponsor stickers, 1RC Racing logos, body-detail stickers, and a complete set of racing numbers, allowing you to customize the 1/24th Asphalt Late Model to your liking. Additionally, as with other 1RC Racing vehicles, this car is available in black, white, or clear versions.
